Quaver

Quaver:

A quaver is an 8th note, which is an 1/8 of a 4/4 bar, so eight quavers equals the length of a 4/4 bar. A quaver is half the length of a crotchet and twice the length of a semi-quaver.

This is what a quaver by itself looks like:                      










But if there are two or more consecutive
quavers, then you join them by drawing a line
